My love for dogs has involved me with them for many years; whether volunteering with rescue organizations, pet sitting, or training my own dogs. One day it was a clear choice to turn that passion into my life’s work. Leaving a long career in baking, I joined Riverdog Canine Coaching, a well known training facility in the Seattle area. During my time there I acquired a tremendous amount of knowledge about dog behavior, training, and what helps dogs learn; and quickly rose to the position of Senior Trainer.
After moving back to the Midwest, I realized I could bring my knowledge and experience to Madison dog owners. My goals are to educate families about their dogs, and teach canines and people to have mutually beneficial relationships. I am a member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers and Pet Sitters International. My training methods include positive rewards and clear communication.
My commitment to clients is to give the best information and training possible, to meet each family’s specific needs. Give me a call to set up a no-charge behavior evaluation and together we’ll come up with a service plan that works for you!
